Researchers in the Department of Psychology at MUN are looking for Mothers in Newfoundland and Labrador to take part in a study at Memorial University about their motherhood experience. Moms of any marital status or sexual orientation, as well as stepmoms and adoptive moms are welcome to take part in this survey.

What is this study about?

The Family Resilience Laboratory at MUN is conducting a study to understand the factors that influence maternal wellbeing and the unique characteristics of motherhood in Newfoundland and Labrador. The survey asks about demographic information, parent-child relationships, co-parenting, health, and overall wellbeing.

This includes parents of stepchildren and adoptive children. It also includes those who are alone or currently with a partner. Both heterosexual and mothers in same-sex relationships are eligible for the survey. Participants may complete the survey online or over the phone.
