Nadine yildiz

 

Nadine has been awarded an NSERC USRA and is currently working as a research assistant with RCDMC. She will begin her masters of experimental psychology with a focus on math anxiety, under the supervision of Dr. Darcy Hallett in fall 2016. As an undergraduate student Nadine completed her honours thesis which assessed the benefits of mathematical automaticity training for reducing math anxiety in elementary education undergraduates. Nadine developed her interest in mathematical cognition after completing an NSERC USRA in the RCDMC lab during the summer of 2015.


Nadine has also assisted with other projects such as the ability of children to understand time of day and the conceptual and procedural understanding of fractions in 8th graders.
